Data processing summary

This is a summary an institution can use while counsel prepares a signed data processing agreement. It is not that signed agreement.

Discel acts as a school official for the class. The institution, or the professor contracting for the class, controls the education records. Discel maintains them only to grade and operate that class.

Use is limited to hosting, grading, showing results to the student who submitted the file, and supporting the professor. Redisclosure is not allowed except back to that institution or the student who owns the record.

Subprocessors: Supabase, Vercel, and OpenAI. The institution can export a class package and can delete the class, which removes the education records and stored files.
